Activity Details
We meet every
Tuesday | 1pm - 3pm
and we ask for a contribution of £2 to cover running costs at the
This group is open to people of all ages and abilities. It provides an opportunity to
meet up with people in an informal, relaxed setting.
The group is supported by Penny, an experienced music teacher, who volunteers her time to accompany our singing during the first hour. Singing is good for us physically as well as lifting our spirits. Very few of us have a “good” singing voice but it doesn’t stop us from having fun.
We have a short break to enjoy tea and biscuits before spending time on a variety of activities. Sometimes it is a quiz, or we might have a game of beetle, other times we enjoy Play Your Cards Right. What we do is decided by the group members. All ideas are welcome!
But whatever we do the key thing is an opportunity to get out and meet people.
You might want to grab a bite to eat in our Café before joining us at 1.00pm. We look forward to welcoming you.
