It all started with Covid in 2020. People were looking out for one another, especially for neighbours who could not get to the shops or to their usual social events. 

 

Packed lunches were delivered to doorsteps instead of our usual sit-down
Xmas meal. People enjoyed these lunches so much we have continued doing them.

 

The idea is that it is a bit of a cheer-up when the weather is often pretty miserable. All those involved are just being good neighbours. The fresh hot food is prepared by Alan and Linda in the Springfield Café. Volunteers pack everything up.
